He was born on 23rd July 1856 in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. His born name was Keshav Gangadhar Tilak. His father name was Gangadhar Tilak and his mother name was Parvatibai. He has completed his education from Deccan College, Govt. law college. He was a Hinduism person. With grateful thoughts. He died on 1st August 1920 in Mumbai, British India.

Bal Gangadhar Tilak has six children Ramabai Vaidya, Parvatibai Kelkar, Vishwanath Balwant Tilak, Rambhau Balwant Tilak, Shridhar Balwant Tilak, and Ramabai Sane. Hiis wife name was Satyabhamabai Tilak.

Professional life.


Balgangadhar Tilak joins Indian National Congress. He works for Congress when British rules in India. He was considered as a radical  Nationalist of India and then he knowns for ‘The Father Of India Unrest’. He Devoted his 12yrs for India and always ready to fight with Britishers for India. In 1903 He wrote a book ‘The Arctic Home In The Vedas’. He wrote many books as a publisher.
